Lean Manufacturing Engineer

As a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Melexis, you will:

• Lead improvement projects to increase productivity, maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction; this includes studying, organizing and leading
• Transfer and/or releases of products testing on local manufacturing sites
• Process flow and test time improvements
• Ensure standardization and alignment of product flows and manufacturing methods (eg. retest process alignment on all manufacturing sites) Support deployment of local corrective actions across all manufacturing sites
• Analyse, define and manage problem-solving process in manufacturing set-up issue triage and resolution, in order to come to lean production flow
• Support releases of new products in manufacturing
• Support development and process team in reaching error-proof test solutions in manufacturing for final product release
• Act as 5S and lean champion through developing and conducting training to build capabilities on manufacturing processes and lean Six Sigma approach (including 5S method)

Your profile:

• Master Degree in Engineering
• Successful experience in Production Engineering or Product Quality Assurance or Test engineering
• Genuine interest in Lean / 6 Sigma / Kaizen and continuous improvement mindset coupled with the applied knowledge of these methods
• Working experience in integrating different cultural background
• Hands-on mentality
• Pragmatic & Strategic thinking ability
• Effective Communication skills in English
