We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to lead the design team through all phases of our R&D process from initial idea to running production. Our product range is among the most complete in the world and is used within a number of business areas, ranging from household-, commercial-, food retail and industrial refrigeration to air conditioning and products for the wholesale refrigeration market and automation in specific industrial sectors.
Drive and deliver innovative design
Your primary focus is to drive and deliver design of new products executing projects according to our product development processes. Delivering solid results according to plan, in due time and high quality, is another of your success parameters. Aside from working closely with the other members of your team, you will benefit from a large surface of contacts internally within R&D as well as externally with suppliers, customers and our design centres. Among your key tasks are:
•Specification, design and verification of solutions
•Plan and manage R&D activities within different projects
•Execution of calculation and simulation tasks
•Leading role in the design phase of product development Projects

You hold as minimum a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and have the tools to drive innovation from idea to launch. Strong knowledge of and several years’ practical experience with all the phases of design in new product development is a must and due to your strong drive you know exactly how to focus your efforts. You work persistently to achieve your goals, and you possess the cooperation skills to develop solid relations – also to external partners. You are customer-oriented and have a global mindset, and it motivates you to make a difference through innovation and cooperation across cultures. Finally, you are characterised by a drive and a positive energy that rub off on your environment.
