JAVA Developer

INTRODUCTION

We are looking for Java Developers with at least 2 years hands-on experience. The successful candidate must be an experienced technologist, equally comfortable talking about design, testing and threading. You should also want to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven global team environment and be able to communicate effectively with the business users and with colleagues in our offices across the world.

FUNCTION

• Develop and support applications according to the corresponding client processes
• Comply with client and TCS processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Degrees: MSc or Bsc degree in engineering or information technology areas.
• 2+ hands-on Java development experience
• Strong fundamental technology skills (OO design, threading)
• Basic understanding of Unix shell scripting or Perl
• Relational database programming (JDBC, Hibernate)
• Good organization and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and disciplined but with the ability to work on short deadlines on occasion
• Strong interest in learning about the business environment and working with multiple business users groups in different locations across the world
