IT Integration Engineer

Our Client is the major player world-wide for financial services and is looking for a Integration Engineer to contribute to projects with external customers located in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa region. Working with a Senior Integration Expert, the Integration Engineer will contribute to an integration project to help customers connect their back office systems to the client, in an efficient and risk-free manner. These services cover implementation related activities from project conception to go live. You will be working in Belgium (REGION BRUSSELS). We will assist you during your stay in Belgium to find an apartment and other logistic needs. The offered contract is long term. Your responsibilities will be to: Contribute to the delivery of payable Integration Services projects for our customers through activities such as: - Functional Analysis: objective analysis of integration requirements to make a correct assessment of complexity, risk, and cost of the integration project. - Technical Design: analysis and design of the individual system components and process flow. - Technical Implementation: development and deployment of the Integration solution. - Testing and Quality Assurance: testing activities to confirm the solution can be implemented in a production environment. - Go-live support: System, User Acceptance and Resiliency testing. - Project Management to define an overall project plan, track progress against the plan and participating in status meetings, etc. - Customer facing. - A competitive salary. - A welcoming and inclusive environment - E xtensive development opportunities Experience: - Experience in programming with Java (no web-based, but functional JAVA modules) - Experience with Oracle and SQL is an asset. Professional skills and knowledge: - Knowledge of the principles UML and XML - Excellent analytical skills - A strong team player who also has the ability to work independently - Willingness to travel (on average 30%) - Languages: Fluent English, both written and spoken. Any other major European language is an asset. - Willingness to work as a Spanish "autonomo", in a first period.
