Brampton Care & Rehabilitation are delighted to announce due to recent expansion we are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join us on a full-time permanent basis.
Brampton Care & rehabilitation have two designated floors to gerontology with one specializing in Dementia Care. We are looking for healthcare assistants who are keen to work in gerontology. We are the only CARF accredited facility on the west of Ireland.
Brampton care and Rehabilitation is located in Oranmore which is approx 10 min from galway city centre.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing the highest level of care and service to residents and upholding best practice in relation to daily activities.
- Completing necessary documentation to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed.
- Working to quality standards set out by the company and related professional bodies.
- Sustaining high level of communication between resident’s family and staff, developing & maintaining good relationships
- Assisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the home
- Contributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the home
- Any other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management.
Job Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare, Nursing or a related industry.
- Previous nursing home or similar healthcare experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with high attention to detail.
