Health, Safety, Quality & Environment Advisor (HSQE)
Provide HSQE advice & support to the Project Teams and ensuring subcontractors comply with HSQE requirements within the multi-utility, overhead lines and civil engineering sectors. Take action in conjunction with the Project Managers and Site Managers in the event of any unsafe actions, or conditions. Review, revise and update existing safety, quality and environmental management systems. Assist as necessary on all Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and tender submissions. Undertake HSQE site inspections and audits in accordance with project audit plans and conduct any site safety briefings as required.
Education requirements*:- Grad IOSH or equivalent. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
Other available requirements e.g. driving licence, language criteria etc. Previous HSQE in utilities (Gas/Water/Electric). Auditing skills and experience. Time management and planning. Work independently as well as with a team working to the required work schedules. Able to write reports and present them to senior management, paying attention to details.
A current full and valid driving licence. Good verbal and written communications skills n English. Able to travel to various sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stay as and when required. Able to work weekends and cover out of hours as and when required.
Primary Job Location: * Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, but will be required to travel and work at various sites.
