Grundfos Senior Category Manager for Finance Services

With a clear purchasing strategy and strong organization setup in Centers of Expertise (CoE), Grundfos is now looking for a committed Senior Category Manager for Finance Services.



In this position you’ll be responsible to deliver consistently high Customer satisfaction on behalf of Group Purchasing as business Partner for the group functions and business stakeholders. Conduct Value Based Sourcing within the Category and continuously optimize the Operational Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability delivered from Suppliers



The position will be reporting to the CoE Head, within Chiara Sabbadin Sr Director Indirect Purchasing team.

Joining Global Indirect Purchasing you will be part of an international team with colleagues in different location worldwide.



We are stepping into next level of strategic and operational performance with focus on a Business Partnering approach mirroring the long term business needs. Operating from the headquarter in Bjerringbro you will be very close to your stakeholders in Finance services and Risk Management areas.



You will be accountable for the performance on three major spend areas; insurance, legal services and finance consulting. 



Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Develop sourcing strategy to support business strategy and roadmap.
• Implement and align global and regional sourcing strategies.
• Lead negotiations and tendering processes.
• Ensure supply market intelligence research and analysis activities.
• Deliver values and savings for the category.
• Ensure favorable and compliant contracts closure implementation and management.
• Develop Supplier Relationship Management activities.
• Optimize and maintain supplier portfolio.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a true relation builder with exceptional negotiation skills. To succeed in the role you will need the ability to see and communicate new ways of approaching how to do business on a strategic level as well as operational.



You are able to navigate effortlessly in a matrix organization with a global, regional and local approach to indirect purchasing covering services in 60 countries across Grundfos.



We imagine that you:

• Have more than 5 years of experience with indirect purchasing
• Have experience on Professional Services within Insurance, Legal and Finance consulting
• Have strong negotiation experience with large suppliers and consultancy providers
• Are familiar with stakeholder management in an international matrix organization
