We have a fantastic vacancy for a Full Time Grounds person / Greenkeeper to join our exceptional award winning Greens keeping team.

Main Duties

• Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough.
• Operates some equipment used in course maintenance.
• Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, Drop zones and hazards.
• Mowers: fairway, tee.
• Small machinery: string trimmer, fly mow, backpack blower.
• Involved in course detail tasks: weed and debris clean-up, poa eradication, etc.
• Maintains equipment fluid levels: Petrol/ diesel/ oil, etc. (throughout day)
• Reports equipment problems/failures to mechanic immediately and completes correct paper work.
• Performs daily equipment repair and maintenance as directed by Lead Mechanic.
• Ensures that all equipment used is washed properly, returned to designated location and charging if applicable.
• Performs bunker maintenance: operation of mechanical rake
• Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions. Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use.
• Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance.
• Maintain the appearance of planters, or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing or making repairs.
• Maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, or parking lots by filling in cracks, holes, and making other repairs.
• Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Perform other reasonable job duties as require

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
