The role as Financial Compliance Specialist
Working side by side with all key stakeholders your responsibilities will be:
- Establish and promote compliance in the finance area
- Support in the development of the solid and sustainable financial controls
- Help developing, adapting, and updating the necessary policies and procedures over finance processes
- Describe and update business processes workflows and keep them up-to-date
- Coordinate and align with the necessary stakeholders
- Ensure execution of financial controls
- Report on executed controls and daily activities
- Act as Subject matter expert in the implementation of controls in the finance area
As AGC Biologics Sites are located around the globe in different time zones, working outside normal working hours should be expected.
Your Profile
In our new colleague, we are looking for a person with/you are:
- Finance background
- Experience from a similar role or participating In the implementation and rolling out of the financial controls and business processes
- Passionate and motivated to develop and build compliance in the finance area
- Deep understanding of the general financial processes, such as record to report, order to cash, procure to pay.
- Relevant education (Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration or similar)
- Experience with IT on a user-level, including MS Office. Knowledge about EPR programs is an advantage, but not a requirement. Knowledge of GRC system is a plus
- Knowledge of the GRC system is a plus
- JSOX and/or SOX knowledge is an essential advantage
- Strong English communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Structured and disciplined mindset
- Service-minded and flexible
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
