Customer Support Tourism Advisor (M/F) – Flemish – Remote
Main responsibilities:
- Handle all telephone calls in line with service standards and procedures;
- Assist customers with specialist support and after sales service such as booking changes, purchasing additional services, and special requests;
- Provide relevant information to customers in order to improve customer service and loyalty;
- Respond to customer emails and chats in accordance with appropriate service level agreements;
- Assist customers with their online bookings and other web enquiries;
- Inform customers about web features and content;
- Assist with internal support and training of new staff when required;
- Participate in specific operational projects where required.
What we are looking for:
- Fluent both in English (C1) and Flemish / Dutch (C1/C2)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
- Experience in the travel industry, either in retail operations or in air tours/bookings, is considered a plus.
- Ability to organize and prioritize;
- Ability to work flexibly to business needs and under pressure;
- Ability to think outside the box and be open to new challenges;
- Flexibility to attend supplier training and/or education events;
- Schedule flexibility.
- Appropriate working environment and conditions at home (space with privacy to work 8h day without noise);
