International Career Day & European Job Days Genoa 2014 is an open fair aimed at facilitating the job matching process for high skilled jobseekers. This year’s event will be focused on three key areas: Sea Economy, Green Economy and Tourism Sector. The event will be held both online and onsite, to allow the widest possible audience to take part.
- Onsite: 5-7 November 9:00-18:30

November 6th : Green Economy and Innovation Technology
November 7th: Tourism and Healthcare
- Online: November 6th 10:00-17:00 (live chat) / 10:00-18:30 (live stream programme)
Jobseekers will have the opportunity to meet international companies, to apply for jobs and book job interviews with recruiters. At the JOB AREA they will be provided with assistance for a series of activities such as: creation of the CV and cover letter, CV checking, job interview tips, and more. During the event, jobseekers will also be able to attend seminars focusing on job and career topics, the Youth Guarantee Program, and they will also have access to workshops about living, working and studying conditions in several EU countries.
Employers will be provided with a wide range of personalized services, including advertising of the job openings, screening and matching of CVs, and scheduling interviews with the candidates, among others. They will have the opportunity to present their business and the job vacancies in a one-hour Pitch Elevator and hold live chats with potential candidates from around Europe.
Jobseekers targeted: graduates, newly graduates and young professionals, who are looking for a job especially in Sea Economy, Green Economy and Innovation Technology, Tourism and Healthcare.
Employers targeted: companies in the EU/EEA.
Information for visitors
At the “International Career Day- European Job Days 2014”, jobseekers will be able to search and apply for jobs that match their profiles.
By registering for the event, jobseekers will have the opportunity to make contact with international employers and book one or more job interviews during the event. The interviews can be held both onsite, for jobseekers attending the event in person, and online. At the “Job Area” visitors will be provided with assistance for a series of services: creation of Cv and cover letter, Cv checking, job interviews tips and more.
At the event, you will also be able to attend information sessions, view company presentations and ask questions after each presentation. These sessions will be live-streamed, and online participants will be able to send in their questions via chat.
You will also be able to consult with EURES Advisers on working and living abroad.
The online event will take place on 6 November 2014 including:

- 10:00-18:30 (live stream programme)
Jobseekers targeted: graduates, newly graduates and young jobseekers who are interested and motivated in gaining their work experience in EU Countries.

During the event, employers will also be able to present their companies and hold live chats and Q&A sessions with jobseekers.
