ON-POINT Connect - Team Spirit
Our ON-PONT Team Adventure 2023 at Europa Park got everyone excited....
Indeed, weather-wise EUROPE was highly creative and gave us thunderstorms, downpours and tropical heat. None of this however could “dampen” the spirit, enthusiasm and mood of the ON-POINT team! While some bravely faced the wet elements literally going under cover, others remained hopeful the rain would stop for certain after one more cup of coffee ... Five cups or so later, it did eventually and everyone gave the rides – big or small, tame or exciting - a go.
Lessons learned from the day:
1. "Come on, this is fun!” can mean different things to different people but with great team support, everyone rose to the challenge regardless!
2. Experiencing digital transformation first hand by "virtual queuing” made us all even more happy … our strategy worked by using it!
3. A "45-Minute-Wait" in a line of people that moves inch by inch, however, can also lead to very meaningful and productive conversations with a colleague, however questionable the 30 second return on investment (thrill) may be.
My personal highlight was taking the train from Russia to Germany via London to Spain. Priceless! 😊
In summary, we all had a great time together and made the most of the day. The jury is out though, that next time, we will go somewhere sunny. Something to look forward to in 2024!
