Job duties:

  • Maintain windows server 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Most machines are virtual, using VMware.
  • Use SCCM for Windows server patching, and additional Windows Server administration duties.
  • Triage tickets related to Windows server issues and patching.
  • Respond to automated monitors and alerts to troubleshoot windows server issues
  • Provide System Administration  functions such as user account maintenance, application and OS patches and updates, antivirus updates, security/event log review and analysis, network documentation, backup operations, monitor and restore
  • Install, configure, audit, manage, troubleshoot servers and other hardware systems and associated software as necessary
  • Proficient support MS Windows Server (2008 and newer).
  • GPO for group policy
  • Understanding of Active Directory

Job qualification:

  • 3-5 years of Windows Administration/Engineer experience
  • VMware experience
  • Prior experience working with Windows 2008 or newer
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
