Sofico is recruiting a Software Implementation Consultant.

You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary Unit where motivation, creativity, openness and initiative are key. You will be based in Belgium (Ghent), but mainly work on projects abroad.As implementation consultant you will have a wide range of responsibilities, technically oriented: You will analyze the client’s requirements and translate them into a configuration solution. You‘ll make functional analysis for gaps concerning interfaces, reporting and map the needed data. In the area of consistency, performance and maintenance and in line with the standards, you’ll determine the most efficient, effective and user friendly implementation solution for the defined needs. You will determine the budget for the configuration, migration and reporting. You will configure the functional solution and/or manage the configuration. You will perform data migrations and develop reporting tools. You manage all technical aspects of the system such as batches, security, provide test cases and analyze test results, technical support (SQL), etc… You will report to the project leader. As Implementation Consultant you will also be involved in pre-sales & commercial activities.

Profile

  • You have a Master degree (or equivalent), preferably in IT, engineering or economics.
  • You have several years of relevant experience with Software implementation projects; experience with data migration, ETL tools and/or reporting tools (Crystal reports, Business Objects?) are a plus.
  • You have a creative, but critical attitude and an analytical mind; you have the ability to understand needs and clearly translate them into solutions.
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • You have a strong interest in technological innovations and have a good knowledge of business processes(financial and administrative processes). 
  • You are a motivated team player; you are dynamic, positive, organized and service-oriented.
  • Knowledge of the leasing business is a plus.
  • Experience within an international environment is a plus.
  • You are prepared to travel (up to 50%).
