Shop assistant in spectacular Hardangerfjord - season 2025

Summer job in nature-based tourism in beautiful and spectacular Hardangerfjord region in Norway Are you the new shop assistant in our gift shop for the period from 01. June - 31. August 2025? Norwegian Nature Centreis a modern experience centre for Norwegian nature, climate and environment and the most visited human created attraction in the area. The centre is also a visiting centre for the Hardangervidda National Park. In addition to the Nature Centre, we are also running Hardangerviddahallen restaurant and gift shop. The gift shop sells souvenirs and outdoor clothing among other things. Norwegian Nature Centre is located in Øvre Eidfjord along the Norwegian scenic route Rv7 close to Hardangerfjord and Vøringsfossen. Norwegian Nature Centre's main season is from the 01. April to 31. October, with daily opening hours from 10 am to 6 pm.

· Sales and daily cash settlement in the souvenir shop

· Processing deliveries and inventory

· Good cooperation with the shop manager and other departments

· Costumer service abilities including excellent organization and verbal communication skills.

· You have relaevant sales experience

· Good language skills (English, Norwegian and German is an great advantage)

· You like to be in contact with guests and provide excellent costumer service

· You have a passion for sales and are result driven

· You are responsible, outcome-oriented and reliable

· You are patience and able to remain calm in stressful and high pressure situations

· You can work independently but also have a strong team spirit

· You are flexible regarding work tasks

· You enjoy a international working environment
