Would you like to further develop your business process management skills within the offshore industry? Then here is a career-building challenge where you will have the opportunity to apply your skills into tangible business solutions as well as work with stakeholders throughout our organization.

We Offer

As a Business Architect in Maersk Drilling you will work with our Business Process Owners on process improvements and changes across our business functions. You will be involved in the creation, design and build of business models, and in helping Business Process Owners integrate and operate them. Working with the broad spectrum of business process management activities and across business functions, you will have great opportunities to broaden your career and tackle complex stimulating challenges.

We offer a dynamic work environment, focused career development, a great team and plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your expertise in a growing and challenging enterprise environment.

As part of the Application Management team, you will play an important strategic role in transforming the application portfolio in Maersk Drilling to better fit the business structure and ensure agility to support growth and process changes in our business.

Key Responsibilities

Your initial main focus will be to understand our business, apply your business process and IT knowledge - and bridge them in a way that ensures the best possible support and implementation of our business strategy. This can be done through:

• Requirements gathering

• Business analysis and problem solving

• Business process redesign and organizational improvement.

Your ongoing responsibility will be to advice our Business Process Owners on how to utilize IT to facilitate and further develop the business processes.

You drive and conduct the dialog with the business process owners within the various departments and ensure that the business requirements are captured, documented and reflected in the solutions/applications. Furthermore, you advice our Business Process Owners and other stakeholders on how IT can maximize the outcome of the business processes.

From a consulting delivery perspective, your focus will be to lead the architecture, development and deployment of mission critical enterprise solutions.

You will act comfortably in the field between the various business areas and IT where your high degree of integrity makes it natural for you to challenge relevant stakeholders – always keeping in mind that everything we do must add value to our business.

Who we are looking for

You have a strong business process and business solutions background. An academic education combined with 5-10 years of experience within the consulting industry, within internal business process improvement or alternatively from an IT department in a global company makes an optimal background for this position.

Your proven track record reflects your in-depth knowledge of business strategies - incl. business process improvement - and IT technology and more importantly how the latest one can benefit the first one. Moreover, it is an advantage if you have experience with IT governance frameworks like ITIL and you are certified in project management e.g. PRINCE2.

Desired Qualifications:

• Academic degree, e.g. Master of Business Administration, E-business, Computer Science, or related field

• 4+ years of project management or management experience, preferably from a consulting company

• Consultant mind-set

• Demonstrated ability to lead consultants in various project work streams

• Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables

• Excellent communication skills with hands-on experience working with stakeholder management on different levels of an organization

• Proven ability to understand a customer's needs

• Developed solutions requirements based on business imperatives

On the personal level, you are a convincing communicator with an open-minded and committed approach and have a well-developed sense of empathy. You are great at establishing and keeping strong long term relations at all levels of the business and with your colleagues in the IT department.

Last but not least, you have proficiency in English.
