About the role:
As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll join an autonomous development team working towards Queue-it’s mission of online fairness for all. The team is responsible for all stages between the idea and final product, including design, architecture, implementation, testing, and operations – and you’ll have the chance to contribute to all of it.
Because we empower the world’s biggest brands to run smooth online events and fight online abuse (think scalpers, bots, and other bad actors), our systems need to be high quality and error-proof. To do this, we trust our developers. You are closest to the code, so you will see the edge cases and take pre-emptive actions to make our codebase resilient.
In other words, our developers aren’t ticket-takers; you’re the core of operations and your work will impact billions of end-users.
Responsibilities:
Improve, extend, and maintain our existing bots and abuse SaaS offerings. Work on the team committed to beating back online abuse on behalf of our customers and end-users.
Build and release high-quality software. Every day, you’ll put your coding skills to the test, maintaining and improving our best.in-class platform.
Collaborate for success. Work with an empowered product team including developers, PM, and UX as well as the rest of the organization towards the mission of online fairness for all.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with software development after graduation
- Solid understanding of web technologies
- Proficient in object-oriented software development (we use C#/Microsoft stack)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS), JavaScript/Typescript, and NoSQL and/or SQL databases
- Practical experience or knowledge/interest within Cybersecurity, networking, Data analysis, machine learning, and/or business intelligence
- Proficiency in English (Danish not required)
- An academic degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar
