Assisting in all commercial subjects to ensure the protection of the financial and contractual interests from the conception of the projects through to final conception. Ability to provide professional advice and work effectively with teams, achieve a product of high quality but will minimise the risk and maximise the profit-making opportunities.

Education requirements*:- Commercial or Quantity Surveying degree (or equivalent). Previous Quantity Surveying in respect of utilities (Gas/Water/Electric), Overhead Lines, Trenching & Ducting. Experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors, including leading regular meetings, certificates and accruals calculations. Experience in negotiating the cost of projects. IT skills and in particular with Microsoft Excel. Time management and planning. Work independently as well as with a team working to the required work schedules. Ability to prioritise workload with good time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines. Able to write reports and present them to senior management, paying attention to details. A current full and valid driving licence. Good verbal and written communications skills n English. Able to travel to various sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stay as and when required. Able to work weekends and cover out of hours as and when required.

Primary Job Location: * Mullingar, Co.Westmeath, but will be required to travel and work at various sites
