For our Business Excellence department within Energy Offshore, we are looking for a quality engineer. As a Quality Engineer, you will be a part of a professional team driving second to none Quality Improvements through optimized processes in close cooperation with the rest of the organization within market leading Siemens Wind Power Offshore. What are my responsibilities? • Support and promote Company overall targets incl. Zero Harm and Zero Defect targets • Drive improvements through to completion based on in depth analytical data • Liaise and network with different departments on a common goal and follow up on processes • Contribute to and integrate with other departments under Business & Quality Excellence • Lead / be a part of time to time established task forces within quality improvement • Closely liaise with other Q/EHS related functions as relevant • Support and contribute to maintaining best in class working environment known by a positive atmosphere • Support CAPA processes, in particularly in the implementation phase • Liaise with Competence/mindset functions and project teams to obtain synergies What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a higher degree within engineering or a technical education combined with significant operational experience from a project oriented organization within renewables/offshore, maritime, oil/gas or the construction industry. Supplementary, you have advanced knowledge to legislative standards, e.g. Machinery Directive, European Standards including CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations, as well as quality management systems (ISO, FMEA etc.) As a person, you have a structured mindset and see challenges as opportunities for driving improvements through to completion. You possess strong analytical skills and you like to create results both independently and as a part of a strong and professional team with high ethical standards working in a complex process environment. You have an eye for the detail as well as the large picture and you are a skilled navigator/networker in large organizations. Finally you have an energetic, positive and Can-Do approach in general. In addition, you speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of Danish or German language is highly welcome. You hold a valid driver’s license for driving within EU. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
