Are you motivated by working closely with a strong production team and using your technical background to optimise production flow end ensure OEE improvements? Then you could be the Production Engineer we are looking for at Danfoss Burner Components. You will join a team of 8 colleagues who are responsible for processes and systems that cover the production area for the entire plant.

As Production Engineer your overall objectives will be to plan and execute technology engineering activities in order to ensure optimal operations and plants productivity while you maintain the quality standards of produced products. Another focus area will be to research, evaluate, recommend and plan investments in technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's technology area or production capabilities. Your tasks will among others include:
•Resolve technology issues in production and minimise delays
•Secure production documentation and setup is up to date
•Support maintenance of equipment •Introduce, implement, monitor and optimise quality processes in production by using different quality tools e.g. TS 16949
•Prepare and implement plans for elimination of losses and increase productivity
•Participate in process modifications and continuous improvements using e.g. 4 steps and 8D methods
Six Sigma Green Belt, TS16949 experience and a can-do attitude
You have a background as mechanical or production engineer backed by solid hands on experience from working with optimisation and sustained improvements. Technically, you have experience within one or more of the following areas: SAP system, Six Sigma (Green Belt) and you have both knowledge of and experience with TS 16949. On a more personal note, you have the energy and drive for performance, and you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome from idea to implementation. You have a structured approach to your work and take responsibility. Keeping a sense of perspective, and an adequate ability to sit tight and keep calm in a hectic workday with many deadlines, is one of your strong suits, and due to your strong drive you know exactly how to focus your efforts and make the necessary decisions. Last but not least you master Danish as well as English fluently both in writing and speech.
