The Hospital of the Order of St. John of God Regensburg is the largest Catholic hospital in Germany with 875 beds and about 2500 employees and is the teaching hospital of the University of Regensburg. We serve patients from the region of Eastern Bavaria and beyond at our two locations in the Prüfeninger Straße and the St. Hedwig Clinic for Children, Young
Adults and Women.
The intensive care unit of the hospital of the Order of St. John of God has the bed capacity of 18 beds and is part of the Perinatalcentre Level 1.
Responsibilities:

o Providing Intensive care of premature babies and sick premature babies
o Providing intensive care of children and young people staying at our interdisciplinary intensive-care unit
o Providing medical care and supervision of patients requiring artificial respiration
o Preparation, supervision and admission of medication
o Supervising patients und documentation of care on an ongoing basis
Job Requirements:

o Licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse (pediatric)
o Working experience in neonatology or comprehensive primary health care of children
o Sufficient German language knowledge in writing and reading
o Willingness to interdisciplinary care
o Good mental and physical fitness
o Ability to work in a team
