The Role
We are looking for a service driven individual to join our five star Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either begin or continue your career in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Working with a professional and welcoming Team you will be part of creating Merrion Moments for our guests and colleagues with your main duties including:
- Service guest rooms, corridors and public areas to the required standard in accordance with the departmental manual.
- Stock and maintain housekeeping trolleys.
- Complete cleaning checklists as and when required.
- Handle all lost property with care and ensure it is reported to a senior person on duty.
- Ensure all linen is handled according to training, taking due care at all time and returning damaged linen to the appropriate section of the linen room.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with senior person on duty.
- Regularly check public areas/toilets to ensure standards are maintained.
** Please note, Housekeeping Team members clean 8 – 10 rooms per day and have 45 minutes to service a departure room, and 45 minutes to service a stay-over room**.
