You will join our Project Management area consisting of approximately 100 highly skilled project employees. As a global company, you can expect some work-related travelling, approximately 4-8 weeks yearly.

How you might spend your days

As Head of Construction & Safety, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference by enhancing sustainable solutions in a project driven work environment and will

• be responsible for the management of construction planning, plan of resources, time and economy according to customer requirements and expectations and secure fulfilment of plans.
• approve allocation and prioritization of key resources together with Project Management.
• use your exceptional stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site or business entity.
• help customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.
• involve experts to inspire and challenge the customer to find the right solution. 
• ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution as applicable.
• secure that the construction teams are organized in a way that allows full utilization across projects and ensure feedback and development of team members.
• Coordinate commissioning work 
• develop and implement robust commissioning strategies – both on projects and department.  
• support the development, with colleagues in the commissioning hub, of contracts for the design and delivery, maintenance and management of Construction and Safety. 
• focus on individual’s ability to grow their skills and develop the tools they need for business success. 
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental guidelines at all sites to ensure the occupational safety of employees on construction sites as well as to comply with regulatory requirements: AMK (P) – AMK (B) 
• drive a strategy in the Construction areas according to NNE overall strategy.

• have strong leadership experience from working with project teams.

• Global working experience is preferred but not a requirement
• have exceptional stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site or business entity.
• help customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.

The miles you’ve walked

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in construction management, preferably from pharma & biotech industries. 

• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, monitoring and controlling of project costs and performance as well as proactive opportunity / risk management, in particular early coordination and initiation of counter measures in case of deviations as well as consistent contract management and claim management

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar.

• A proven track record on successful delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
• Fluent in Danish and English, spoken and written. You live in Denmark. 
• A proven track record in leading change projects
