About the job
Develop new, creative features
As Frontend Programmer, you will be working with AS3, across web and mobile platforms. You will be developing software for new features, in order to enhance and improve our games, always with a high focus on the user experience and performance.
Our games are highly interactive, social and creative and offer many forms of entertainment, such as customizable, animated avatars, mini-games and home-made videos. We strive to continuously develop our games to be the best, with new, fun and engaging features for our kids.

You will be part of a cross-disciplinary SCRUM team, where you will have the opportunity to influence your own work and collaborate with the highly skilled colleagues, utilizing strengths and complimenting each other to the fullest.
About You
•You hold a M.Sc. in Computer Science or similar degree within software development
•At least 3 years of development experience
•Experience working with AS3 and Flash
•Experience collaborating in a SCRUM environment with minimal supervision
•Your English skills are excellent - verbally and in writing
Nice to have
•Experience working with 3D
•Experience working with C# or Java

You are creative in dealing with new features and, thanks to your strong analytical skills, you have the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly. Your communication skills are excellent and you are a good colleague. Finally, you function great with agile methodologies.

MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet, a game and social network for tweens aged 8-15 years. In a world of Fame, Fortune and Friends, each user designs their own movie star avatar, which can be used for creating small cartoon-like movies. They can also chat, design looks, scrapbooks and clothes, and play minigames with other users.
Launched in Denmark in 2009, MovieStarPlanet has since experienced explosive growth. Currently, the website is live in 11 European markets as well as the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
