At DIS, we are currently on a journey to further expand our capabilities within cloud based IoT solutions. We are therefore looking for a skilled software engineer for exciting projects as part of our Embedded & Digital Solutions Department.

As a software engineer at DIS, you get an independent job and a varied everyday life with professional challenges that match your areas of expertise. You will be involved in small and large development projects, from the initial talks with the customer and throughout the project lifetime, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, validation and documentation.
As a software engineer, in close corporation with your colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent high quality of the software deliverables, as well as ensuring a successful implementation in close dialogue with our customers across different industries.
You work project-oriented with technical solutions and development
We require that you hold a relevant bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
Furthermore, it is essential that you have:
- Experience in working with IoT solutions
- Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, ..)
- An understanding of the interaction between devices and cloud
- Practical experience in large-scale system architecture, with high scalability and availability
- Experience with full stack software development using proven technologies, like Node.js, C#, Python, HTML, ..
- Experience with working in an agile team environment, using code review, automated testing, and CI/CD
- A strong work ethic, a desire to work in a team environment and to learn new technologies, and pushing you own limits
As a person you are proactive, you can work independently, and you can structure your daily work. You are passionate about your profession, keep up to date with developments and take pride in high quality and professionalism. At the same time, you understand the importance of exchanging experiences and sparring with colleagues in the solution of your tasks - and you are of course happy to participate in social and collegiate events.
