We are currently looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our client and take part in a large-scale transformation initiative within a highly structured environment.
About the Role
As a Data Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data models, integration architectures, and governance structures. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the data strategy is technically sound, aligned with business goals, and ready for future expansion.
📜Key Responsibilities
- Data Modelling & Architecture: Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with domain needs.
- Data Integration Strategy: Define and implement integration patterns (e.g., batch, CDC, streaming) based on workload and system requirements.
- ETL/ELT Pipeline Optimization: Work with engineers to design and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, analysts, and architects to align technical strategy with project objectives.
- Architecture Decisions: Provide guidance on database and platform selection—including hybrid or cloud-based solutions.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards, privacy-by-design principles, and data governance best practices.
- Master Data Management: Identify master data needs and coordinate with the MDM team to ensure consistency and quality.
Required Skills & Experience
✅Global Competencies
- 5–10 years as a hands-on Data Architect in large organizations
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience in data architecture)
- Strong experience in delivering both tactical and strategic data solutions
- Skilled in technical decision-making and long-term architecture planning
- Able to architect cross-platform data flows and integrations
- Good written and spoken level in English (French is a big plus)
- Experience in waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery environments
- Background in automotive is a plus
✔Technical Skills
- Data modelling expertise (relational, dimensional, NoSQL)
- Data architecture modeling tools (e.g., Bizzdesign, PowerDesigner, Erwin, Hackolade)
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
- Data warehouses: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
- ETL/ELT tools: Informatica, Talend, dbt
- Programming: SQL, Python, or Scala
- Real-time processing: Kafka, Spark Streaming
- Data governance & API/microservices architecture
- Familiarity with ML workflows and data science pipelines
- Certifications in AWS/Azure data services are a plus
