The scope of practice is a comprehensive suite of paediatric audiology assessments to ensure accurate evaluation of hearing from infancy to childhood including
Visual reinforcement Audiometry
Conditioned Play Audiometry
Oto-Acoustic Emissions (TE/DP)
Tympanometry
Acoustic Reflex testing
We offer mentoring and clinical support at the initial stage but would expect the successful candidate to work independently thereafter.
Skills:
- Proficiency in paediatric and adult diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology.
- Leadership and management capabilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Audiology, or a B.Sc (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Audiology from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience being advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of audiological assessment techniques and auditory rehabilitation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within a team-oriented environment.
