A job with a great sense of detail and a global overview
As Business Development Engineer, you will play a decisive role in the future concept development of Kamstrup within intelligent water supply and distribution network.
Your daily work will be characterised by expanding and documenting our knowledge regarding water quality, sensors and efficient water supply. You will get a significant role in defining, developing and implementing the future business and product concepts of Kamstrup within real time and within online water quality monitoring.
In addition to this, an important part of the job is to develop marketing campaigns with focus on water quality and efficient water supply in cooperation with our marketing department. Among other things, this also means presentations at conferences and preparation of white papers and marketing materials.
As Business Development Engineer you will be in close contact with our sales department. You will support our sales staff through education and training in water quality and efficient water supply. Furthermore, you will participate in strategic client meetings and contribute with your competence within the domain.
Your personality is important to us
You have an advanced master’s degree in engineering or similar. You have a background from a utility company or as a consultant within water supply and you have worked with both water quality and sensors. You have at least five years of practical experience within the water industry in Denmark or internationally. Furthermore, you are able to communicate visions from the industry and by this inspire Kamstrup’s customers as well as your colleagues.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. In addition, a thorough understanding of the Scandinavian as well as the German languages is an advantage.
You can expect around 40-50 travelling days per year.
