BMS Engineer

• The role will involve the ability to work as part of the Construction Team to understand the project's requirements then delivering the BMS system.  
• Client interface management, to understand project requirements and presentation of design at design stage gates.
• Implementation and management of control systems across various BMS platforms; BMS I/O lists, HVAC and Utility Sequence of Operations documents, Scope of Works, Functional Specifications, Hardware Specifications.
• Implementation of BMS Systems
• Instrumentation installation management.
• Coordinate and collaborate across project disciplines both within the office and outside
• Knowledgeable of BOD BMS Cost Estimates
• BMS Contractor management. 
• Witness testing of panel FATs and site SATs when applicable
• Attend project, staff, company, design review, ISO, and group meetings and actively participate in discussions.
• Able to effectively deal with issues arising throughout the daily cycle and develop solutions to ensure successful resolution

Level 8 University Engineering degree (i.e. Mechanical, Building Services, Automation Engineering) with minimum five (5) years relevant experience is preferred; or, minimum five (5) year apprenticeship program or related College technical diploma with six or more years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge and strong background in BMS
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, data centre, or health-related facility
• Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility and Data Centre’s.
• Experience in a BMS redundancy design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of current good manufacturing practices, 21 CFR Part 11, 210 and 211, and Annex 11
• General knowledge of network configuration, computer hardware and software, including automation applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Vision, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization
