Welcome to the European Job Day in Västerås!
The European Job Day in Västerås will take place on 6 March 2014 as part of the largest recruitment fair in Sweden. The fair deals with both short-term and long-term work in many various sectors and is open to jobseekers of all ages.
The event will be held both on site in Västerås and online, through live streaming, and is primarily being organised for Swedish jobseekers. There will be presentations in Swedish on living and working in Norway and other countries. Employers from Norway and other countries in Europe will also present the vacancies that are currently open in their companies.
Jobseekers from other European countries will be able to join online and take advantage of this opportunity to see presentations in English on living and working in Sweden and to listen to Swedish employers presenting their vacancies.

European Job Day in Västerås is a great opportunity for you to meet and make contact with highly skilled professionals from all over Europe. You will not only meet recent graduates and students but also experienced candidates, with solid language skills, quite often with international experience.
European Job Day in Västerås will take place on 6 March 2014. There are two ways to participate in the event:
- Onsite: by having a stand at the physical event. There, you will be able to physically meet with jobseekers from many European countries, and you will have the opportunity to attend interesting presentations, workshops and testimonials.
- Online: by participating from this website. You will be able to pre-select candidates and conduct one-to-one interviews with them via video-chat.
The participation in the event is free of charge. If your company is interested in participating in European Job Day in Västerås, you can register here. It is quick and easy.
After the registration process, you will be able to:
- create your company page: logo, description, link to website, video, contact information etc.;
- upload the jobs you are offering during the event. This is essential if you want to meet candidates that match your requirements. If your jobs are published through a national Public Employment Service, they can be automatically imported by using the job’s reference number;
- define your availability / timeslots for interviews;
- browse through the CVs of the candidates who have applied for your jobs. An automatic matching score will already be calculated for you and will help you to find the best profiles. You can also give candidates your own rating and filter them on various criteria;
- invite candidates for an interview (onsite at your booth or online via video-chat);
- benefit from the service of EURES Advisers to make the pre-selection of candidates and organise interviews for you;
- if participating onsite, choose to have a stand, one or more company presentations (30 minute slots), an interview booth (in dedicated rooms) or a combination of all;
- if online, choose to participate during both days or just ½ a day. Live chat with jobseekers or take part in pre-arranged interviews.
