Tyrifjord Golfklubb is located on the peaceful island of Storøya in lake Tyrifjord, 40 minutes from downtown Oslo. There is more to Tyrifjord than just the golf! In addition to great scenery, Storøya offers a trip through Norwegian history back as far as the Middle Ages with its links to the Vikings, and the development of Christianity in Norway when the island offered refuge for pilgrims from all over Northern Europe on their way to Nidaros catherdral in what is now the city of Trondheim. Tyrifjord is one of the most popular and picturesque golf courses in Norway. Well known for the quality of its fairways and challenging, undulating greens. The club has hosted the Norwegian Stroke-play Championship and is ranked in the top 200 golf courses of mainland Europe. Tyrifjord Golf Club has a renowned reputation for our outstanding service to both members and visitors, as well as being one of the best maintained courses in Norway.
