About the organisation
Fortunately, as Mexicans, we know our way around deserts. We love them! And we love the coyotes too! Mexico, the people, the food, the history - it's in our blood. We produce mezcal in Mexico and even brew beer with it here in Germany.
We have countless friends, partners, chefs and enthusiastic restaurateurs in Mexico. Mexico is part of our lives and we have been trying to bring UNTOLD MEXICO and its unadulterated flavour to Viersen for a third of a century. The greatest praise for us? When guests travelling to Mexico return and tell us: "Now we know what Mexican does here! "You can only see well with your heart" is probably the most famous quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in The Little Prince.
And that's the way we want you to see things. And for those for whom our ethnic origin is more important than our mission: unbelievable but true: the head of Mexican is of German-Greek descent and was nominated in 2018 by the Concil Regulador de Mezcal (CRM), the regulatory authority for mezcal in Mexico, for the title of worldwide 'mezcal ambassador', a title that no non-Mexican has ever achieved to date!
