Descripción de la oferta de empleo
Duties:
- To ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the Kitchen area and to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the dishwashing area to the standard required by the Hotel.
- To operate the dishwasher in a safe and efficient manner, using the right quantities of cleaning liquids.
- To clean and sterilize the washing up machine regularly, reporting any faults to the Head Chef.
- To ensure all machines are switched off before leaving.
- To wash and store all the pots, cutlery and cooking utensils ensuring minimum breakages.
- To be responsible for the cleaning of the working surfaces and floors.
- To remove all trash/waste to the waste disposal area.
- To assist the kitchen staff to store all food deliveries etc.
- To assist with cleaning of all refrigerators, stores, etc.
- To maintain a high standard of Personal Hygiene and appearance at all times.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Fire Drill.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Staff Handbook, and the regulations stated within.
- To carry out any other relevant duties as directed by Management.
Requirements:
- The applicants must speak Greek and English (any other language will be considered as an advantage)
- Ensuring service excellence according to the company’s standards
- Be able to remain calm under pressure conditions
- To work as part of a team and be able to meet the department’s objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferable at least one year of previous experience
- Able to work shifts
