Maersk Line IT (MLIT) is the supporting arm of Maersk Line business and its subsidiary companies. In line with the ongoing strategic initiatives of the company, ML IT wishes to hire a Service Delivery Manager who can ensure the delivery of agreed IT services to our fleet of vessels. This individual can be based out of Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for the processing and approval of all changes to the IT Services operating on the vessels

• Define and publish the release calendar

• Define and maintain the Service Transition checklist, including verification that all changes have been adequately tested

• Manage test system bookings

• Engage with projects as a consultant to ensure smooth transition from build to run

• Reports on the performance within Service Transition

• Undertakes data analysis and review to determine improvements to process

• Assists in governance of ITSM policy, processes and procedures

• Highlights opportunities for improvement within the Service Transition ITSM processes

• Conducts audits on compliance within Vessel Operations to the Service Transition processes

• Has responsibility for maintenance of ITSM process team-site documentation

• Maintains the CMDB for Vessel IT infrastructure and applications

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Service Transition responsible who will act as a single point of contact for all changes to vessel IT services. The person will be responsible for ensuring that all changes are approved, the release calendar is maintained, projects are assisted in transitioning to the live environment and that all infrastructure and applications are recorded. The Vessel Service Transition responsible will also give input to the ITSM Change Manager on process enhancement.



Technical skills required:

• Able to analyse performance data and reports

• ITIL certification and/or practical experience advantageous

• Experience in process implementation and improvement



Business skills required:

• Practical experience in change management or other service transition areas

• Organised and works in a structured way

• Quality focused and a good facilitator

• Able to be robust and push back when required

• Ability to communicate to a large group of stakeholders

• Candidates should be willing to travel occasionally.
