Job description 

• To ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children

• Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate the potential development of each child.

• Provide for the holistic needs of the children

• Observe and record children’s progress

• Promote and help maintain an organised, clean, safe, well equipped and culturally sensitive learning environment

• To communicate effectively with children, parents and staff alike.

• Adhere to established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice

• Hold high standards for all children and encourage them to achieve their full potential

• Teach the children at a level they can achieve at a pace that suits their abilities

The requirements necessary for this position are:

• Minimum Fetac / QQI level 5 in childcare. 

Or a recognised degree in early childhood education. Or a masters in early years 0-6 years. Or a teaching degree in early years 0-6 yrs. 

• Practical experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not essential. 

• Fluent English is a necessity 

• Flexibility

• A team player

• Excellent communication skills

• A desire to learn progressively throughout your career

• Sincere and genuine love of children

Job Types:  Full-time, Part-time Permanent positions available

Salary:  €13.00 - €20.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience and position offered within the company.
