The World of Wine is one of Portugal’s largest attractions, bringing together cultural experiences and museums, restaurants and bars, a wine school, and spaces for events and temporary exhibitions.

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager (M/F/D) for our T&C restaurant (Traditional Portuguese Cuisine) to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant;
  • Ensure excellence standards and compliance with product and service quality guidelines;
  • Oversee team operations by assigning tasks to different team members according to service needs;
  • Set goals, schedules, and KPIs, and monitor management indicators to ensure objectives are met;
  • Control cash register openings and closings;
  • Supervise cleaning and hygiene plans and ensure compliance with HACCP standards;
  • Participate in and align recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new employees.

Requisitos laborales

Requirements:

  • Education in hospitality, restaurant, and beverage management;
  • Proven experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in team management and leadership;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Results-oriented mindset;
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
