Assistant Restaurant Manager
The Role:
· Maintain a prominent level of visibility and involvement in the operations at all times .
· To assist the operation and management of the hotel as required.
· Ensure that all team members are trained to carry out effective, professional service and to deliver a warm welcome.
· Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed goals set.
· Ensure high standards are set and continue to be observed.
· Prepare effective rosters to ensure ample cover for business levels and within budget.
· Prepares and trains all team members on standards of procedures for the department
The Candidate
· 2-3 years food & beverage experience at supervisory level in a similar sized and star property.
· Previous Banqueting experience preferred.
· Excellent leadership and delegation skills required.
· Must be a self-starter, with good communication skills.
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
