Aguiatur Azores is looking for Walking Tours Guide / Jeep Safari / Minivan Tour Driver to join its team.

Main responsibilities:

  • drive 4x4 vehicles / minivan in the Terceira Island mountains in organized excursions
  • provide support to other guides in walking tours
  • explain all about the region, culture, tradition, curiosities
  • be a cheerful and entertaining host
  • customer focused

Required profile:

  • upper secondary school, Tourism, Life Sciences or another relevant University Degree
  • minimum 2 years working within the area of touristic tours
  • fluent in English speaking; Dutch, German or French are highly valued
  • at least B cat. driving license for more than 2 years
  • basic vehicle servicing skills (vehicle cleaning, fluid and tire pressure check)

Aguiatur offers:

  • minimum 6-months contract (from April to November)
  • basic wage: 770 euros per month
  • company mobile phone for work usage
  • meals during working hours are included
  • full day work
  • day off can vary according to schedule rotation
  • support in finding accommodation in the nearby area

 

Interviews by Skype or in person, in Portugal (Azores).
