For our Blade Department in Aalborg, Denmark, we are looking for a Team Lead for the Blade Structure Team. The Blades Structure Team consists of 10-15 highly educated design engineers and technical writers within the area of technical structural blade design. The team is responsible for new blade design, including material selection and validation, laminate layup, secondary details, documentation, design specifications and prototype packing and moulding. The Blade department is part of Technology and responsible for the development of new wind turbine blades and new technology. The Blades Structure team is part of the Blade Module department consisting of 90 employees, who are responsible for the design and validation of wind turbine blades. The Blade department is part of Technology which employs approx. 800 engineers and is responsible for the development of new wind turbine blades and new technology. The head office is situated in Brande, Denmark.

What are my responsibilities?

· Management of a dedicated team of technical experts · Product development and implementation of new products into the production · Management of many interfaces and team tasks · Development of work processes · Ensuring the development of design tools · Building up the competences and capacities

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have an educational background as a Bsc. or MSc. preferably within composite mechanics, machinery or construction · You preferably have +10 years of experience including some years as a team lead. Experience from process and product management is preferred · Experience from a technical engineer organization is required · You do not necessarily have experience from the wind turbine industry. Experience from related industries, such as shipyards, composite companies, process industry etc. is also acceptable · You thrive in and have experience from a multicultural organization and are internationally oriented · You are outgoing, ambitious and goal oriented · You are responsible, dynamic and willing to adapt · You possess strong communication and cooperation skills, as well as excellent English skills in writing and speech In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
