Staff Nurses

AnovoCare Limited – are recruiting permanent full time Staff Nurses with Public/Private Nursing Home/Residential experience for a new purpose built 92 bed care facility under development in Cloghran, Swords, Co. Dublin, opened in August 2015. This purpose built luxury facility is set in its own grounds and incorporates an internal courtyard and secure landscaped gardens.

Candidates must have an active NMBI (ABA) PIN, NMBI decision letter or have applied to NMBI.

Candidates must have a proven track record as a Staff Nurse and are required to have good medication management training, knowledge and experience. All candidates must have a good understanding of the current HIQA standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to participate in building a dedicated team for the provision of excellence in residential care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be accountable for high standards of nursing care.
• To take full responsibility for the care assigned.
• To keep accurate and quality records as required under the HIQA standards.
• To be responsible for the safe custody of medications ensuring that all medicinal products are administered strictly in accordance with NMBI guidelines, AnovoCare Limited Policies and procedures and the general practitioner’s instructions.
• To ensure adequate supplies of medicinal products, surgical dressings etc. are available or reported for ordering.
• To carry out all nursing procedures according to the person’s needs, as per his/her agreed care plan.
• To ensure that the AnovoCare Limited Nursing Home is secure and safe at all times and that fire and emergency policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• To inform your line manager of any deficiencies, anomalies or concerns.
• To be familiar with all statutory instruments of legislation concerning nursing homes and to be familiar with all nursing policies and procedures within the AnovoCare Limited Nursing Home.
• To treat all information and AnovoCare Limited data in a secure and confidential manner.
• To carry out such other duties appropriate to the post as directed by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• All candidates must have a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI/ABA) PIN or have applied for registration. Candidates for adaptation with current NMBI decision letters may apply. Further details on www.nursingboard.ie
