Job offer description
We are looking for you to support our kitchen team as soon as possible or by appointment.
As part of your activities, you will carry out the following tasks, among others:
- Participation/supervision in the preparation and production of dishes, menus and buffets for breakfast, the Blue Spa Restaurant, the events in coordination with the kitchen management as well as for staff catering and the control of the specified quality standards throughout the entire production area
- Ordering food and raw materials in collaboration with the chef/cuisine director
- Passing on and monitoring of the training content
- Controlling the deployment and management of employees working in the kitchen area
- Proper storage of all food and raw materials in the designated storage rooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene (HACCP)
- Instructing new employees in the care, cleaning and maintenance of technical devices, checking that they are handled carefully
- Initiating and initiating necessary repairs in the kitchen area
- Carrying out regular inventories
- Cooperative work with all related departments, especially with central food purchasing
Job requirements
You are a good fit for us if you have the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed vocational training as a cook
- Several years of management experience in upscale gastronomy
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Organizational talent, optimal time management as well as quality and cost awareness
- Knowledge of food laws and regulations (LMHV, food law)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
