Our multi-award-winning traditional hotel, ideally located in the centre of the old town, has been owned by the Volkhardt family for five generations. With 337 rooms, including 74 suites, our hotel is one of the leading German hotels and one of "The Leading Hotels of the World". With the gourmet restaurant Atelier, awarded 2 stars in the Michelin Guide and 3 toques in Gault & Millau, a total of five restaurants and six bars leave no culinary wish unfulfilled. The ballroom and 40 modern or historic function rooms for up to 2,500 people are available for special events. The 1,300 square metre Blue Spa offers a unique wellness retreat above the rooftops of Munich. The live entertainment in the Night Club is legendary, the Komödie im Bayerischen Hof stands for the best boulevard theatre and the astor@Cinema Lounge offers a first-class cinema experience. The Volkhardts Wein wine shop in Munich-Pasing is also part of the group.
