Senior functional test engineer

As a SeniorFunctional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing functional tests throughout the integration process and final validation of the satellite.
The activities will include (but are not limited to):
- Plan, execute, and coordinate functional tests of satellite subsystems and systems during the integration process.
- Develop and maintain test procedures, ensuring alignment with design specifications and mission requirements.
- Perform detailed step-by-step testing of satellite functionalities, verifying performance and identifying any discrepancies.
- Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and provide input for satellite validation and final approval.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure all systems meet quality and functionality standards.
- Oversee end-to-end testing phases, including final validation tests prior to satellite delivery.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise during satellite integration and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in functional testing or a similar role within the aerospace sector.
- Knowledge of functional testing methodologies, satellite systems, and integration processes.
- Good understanding of the English language.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Experience gained in small/medium-sized manufacturing or aerospace companies.
- Ability to manage complex testing activities and ensure compliance with tight schedules.
- Strong knowledge of IT tools (e.g., Excel, test management software, ERP/MES systems).
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
