Your Mission

As the person responsible for plant operations, you support the Operations Manager in organizing the operation and ongoing maintenance of the facilities.

Your Tasks

  • You act as the link between the Zermatt operations team and the central units, coordinating various projects as well as planned maintenance to ensure smooth operations on site.
  • You record, plan, and process maintenance and operational work orders using SAP and MS Office, and coordinate the necessary resources with the responsible parties.
  • You create, update, and optimize maintenance plans and instructions according to manufacturer specifications or internal guidelines.
  • You serve as the point of contact for suppliers and supervise their work.
  • You prepare material and tool orders.
  • You support the mechanical team.
  • You participate in the on-call service.

Job requirements

Your Skills

  • You have basic mechanical training and have completed further job-related education (e.g., Maintenance Specialist, Operations Specialist, Maintenance Manager).
  • You have at least five years of experience in a hydropower plant or in the industrial sector.
  • You have experience in leading and supporting teams.
  • You possess strong IT skills and have experience with SAP.
  • You are fluent in German and ideally also in French.
  • You are a team-oriented, communicative, and dynamic individual with high flexibility and strong assertiveness.
