Job offer description
In this position you have the opportunity to be the lead developer for projects that are highly exploratory in nature. You work closely with the stakeholders in the projects making sure you understand their needs and develop accordingly. You evaluate the design and implementation options and work with your peers to meet the program requirements. In this role, you will be using object oriented methodology. Developing software is mostly C++ and Python following industry standard coding practices. You follow up the process or methodology that is chosen for the project. You would utilize configuration management systems and build processes, while focusing on test-driven development and automation.
you need:
- You obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a reputed institution.
- You have minimum 2 years of experience in Desktop Application development.
- You have gained expertise in and with the following:
- UI application programming,
- data structures and algorithms,
- cross platform development tools like Qt,
- configuration management and build process,
- object oriented Python.
- Preferably you also have experience with Agile development methodology and open-source build systems like CMake.
- You like to tinker with imaging systems; ability to demonstrate past experience would be highly desired.
- You will work in close collaboration with your colleagues and have effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are effective in communication and documentation.
