We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our management team and provide essential support in upholding quality standards throughout the organization.
Following is the description of the open position:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - You will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Take charge of leading, organizing, and training the quality department, which comprises quality engineers, shift controllers and an assistant by embodying the vision of Fremach Izegem.
  • Cultivate an environment of inspiration and motivation among team members through open, respectful, and positive communication.
  • Provide clear guidance and direction to the team, ensuring that all products delivered to customers meet the specified requirements.
  • You are tasked with maintaining and improving the internal quality management system.
  • Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits to achieve the necessary certifications aligned with our business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate quality processes. Think of measurements, specifications, calibrations, etc. This includes procurement, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment.
  • You will be responsible for compiling, analysing, and presenting quality data to management, utilizing predefined KPIs. Additionally, you will monitor outcomes, follow up effectively and implement actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • As a fundamental part of our management team, you have a key role in formulating and integration the company's policies.

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE -This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • You preferably have a degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Good knowledge of 8D, PFMEA, Control Plan, Flowchart, SPC, audit VDA6, PPAP, APQP, MSA, problem solving methods and an ERP system.
  • Highly proficient in reading, writing & speaking English..
  • Experience in the automotive industry is essential.
