We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Montano Lucino (CO) Italy location.

Quality Assurance Engineer helps develop and safeguard quality standards in a production company. Before any product reaches customers he/she will assess the item in depth and confirm it meets all company requirements, compliance standards, and that it has no defects; he/she ensures products are safe to use, operate properly, are uniform, and follow all specifications. Quality Assurance Engineer is the first front line with customers for claims management.

 

Main Opportunities and Challanges:

Establishing strategies to improve efficiency in the organization, as well as put out higher quality goods.

Assessing operational data and identifying quality problems.

Developing quality control policies and standards for the company to follow.

Main Responsibilities

•            Customers management for all quality topics: 8D, interim corrective actions, claims recording & closure

•            Customers Action Plan leading (failure-response and proactive) and periodic meetings with clients

•            Design, implement, and improve company quality standards.

•            Analyze data in order to find areas of process improvement (Pareto, PDCA/PDSA, Core & Quality tools)

•            Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.

•            Create reports to track progress of ICA (interim corrective actions) & PCA (permanent corrective actions)

•            Formulate strategies to increase FTT, reduce scraps, identify SC/CC, error-proof initiative

•            Review processes in order to ensure they comply with customer requirements, products specification

•            Quality Management System

•            Review documents prepared and submitted by suppliers and contractors (PPAPs and PROTOs) prior to Customers submission

Job requirements

Education:

University Master Degree in Business Management, Mechanical, Electronics

Professional Background:

•            Master’s degree or associate’s with experience in the field of at least 1 year

•            Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports

•            Ability to analyze data and create and review processes: DFMEA, PFMEA, CP, SPC

Hard Skills

Essential:

•            Web Portal Management (basics browser usage)

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•            Knowledge of AIAG standards

•            Knoledge of APQP process and related management tasks

•            PPAP management and understanding (all #18 key points)

•            Knowledge of ISO9001 standards

•            MTC (Change Management) foundamentals

•            English language

•            Italian language (at least B2 level)

Considered as a plus:

•            ERP-SAP QM Module

•            Minitabs and Specifics Statistics Tool

•            Knowledge of IATF 16949

•            Advanced Excel office usage (including macro visual net)

•            CMM/DEA understanding (basics)
