The Portable Air engineering department has an exciting new vacancy for a Project Leader / Project Expert.

You are accountable for the scope, timing, budget & realization of the project objectives:

• Ensure that projects are properly planned, communicated and progressed throughout the life of the project.
• Monitor, ensure adherence and report all aspects of your projects including scope, schedule, resources, budget and quality assurance; for all involved internal and external stakeholders (e.g. you prepare the statusreports of the project for the management meeting).
• Coordinate project-related activities across functions and resolve key roadblocks and escalations to ensure flawless execution of project.
• To achieve your objectives, you work in a cross-departmental team, where you will lead and steer the team throughout the whole product development process.
• Ensure robust reporting from all team members that is on time and accurate.
• Facilitate problem-solving meetings to overcome obstacles.
• For the master specification of a project, you work out the project plan on a task-level detail, and coordinate all activities.
• You work according to the NPD process in order to ensure that the demanded product- and process quality is met.

You are responsible for the technical aspects of the project:

• Safeguarding of technical coherence during the design phase (supported by the newest CAD tools, as well as development, calculation and simulation tools).
• Evaluating calculation and simulation results and setting up appropriate action plans.
• Setting up a test program in cooperation with the test engineer.
• Evaluating the test results, together with the test engineer and technology engineer.
• Guiding technical scope realization from concept to industrialization, in close cooperation with the process- and production engineers.

• Solid technical knowledge, theoretical and practical.
• You have Master degree in Electromechanics engineering, or Master in Industrial Sciences (or equal through extended relevant experience)
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are focused on getting results and can follow up delegated tasks
• You can work independently and develop scenarios taking into account all aspects
• You are creative in coming up with technical designs and solutions
• You take initiative and act decisively and are self-motivated
• You are strong in communication and you build networks easily
• You are a real team player
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
