As a Search Content Product Manager, the product manager will work within the Search Content construction sub-domain Product Management team and will be contributing to the definition and execution of the search content related product enhancements, such as merchandizing, external low-cost content, NDC content, any relevant content from multiple sources to be integrated into Amadeus search solution

The purpose of construction domain is to bring together people with various skills from product managers, service designers, engineering community members to build products & services in a functional area. Search Content construction sub-domain’s objective is to integrate relevant content from multiple sources to improve customer’s search experience and revenue.

The product manager is the person responsible for defining the ‘why’, ‘what,’ and ‘when’ of the product The product manager leads cross-functional teams from a product's conception through to its launch.

In one hand, Search Content Product Manager collaborates with key programs to ensure the compliancy of program strategy, in the other hand, he/she collects first hand requirements and ideation from customers/segments and ensure interoperability with search products . Search Content Product Manager is the one accountable to build the product leadership, articulate the business value to the construction domain team, determine the best prioritization and ideation, bring the most relevant ideas into value.

Product vision & strategy

  • Responsible for making product decisions and lead / reference resource for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required.
  • Articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release.
  • Collaborate with product line manager for the strategy behind the product along with its roadmap to build what matters

Identify opportunities

  • Identify, analyze and assess value of business requirements from customers/prospects/segments
  • Analyze and reduce gaps between business needs and Amadeus offering
  • Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or enhancements
  • Maintain and prioritize product backlog to maximize value

 

Promote the product

  • Participate to customer projects for requirements collection & follow-up
  • Support sales efforts through product presentations and demos
  • Provide key product information as needed to support value proposition, documentation, training, sales tools and collateral creation
  • Create presentations and demo scripts showing product value
  • Give presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to Segments

 

Product Owner activities

  • Collect, curate, and promote the most relevant ideas into features
  • Manage features and dependencies in and across releases, and milestones, know when (and when not) to create a master release, work out product plan, roadmap,
  • Provide input to the budget process
  • Create and monitor value KPI

 

Follow up customer satisfaction

  • Provide support and assistance to rest of organization, this includes segments & sales organizations that help bring the product to market and work directly with customers
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and take corrective action as necessary
