PLC Programmer

Vervaet is a growing and international company with approximately 200 employees. The company manufactures high-quality, self-propelled agricultural machinery and is located in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, near the Belgian border.
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the software that controls Vervaet machines.

You will also provide documentation to other departments so that your colleagues can install and maintain the necessary PLCs and other electronics in the machines.

As a PLC Programmer, you will be part of a team responsible for the development and implementation of the software that controls Vervaet machines.
You will also analyze and optimize the machine's controls.

You will report to the Engineering department and report to the Engineering Manager.

You enjoy doing the following:
You program PLCs to operate Vervaet machines.
You design an interface for the machine operator.
You analyze the operation of various functions to improve them.
You support assembly, overhaul, and service by resolving electronic malfunctions.
You document the choices made and the operation of the written software.
You select components to connect sensors and actuators and make them work with the PLC.
You later record these components and the associated wiring in electrical diagrams.

You recognize yourself in the following:
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
You are someone with analytical skills and a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
An affinity for technology and the agricultural sector is a plus.
You speak Dutch and English. Proficiency in French and German is a plus.
You have experience with PLC programming, preferably with CoDeSys. You are able to read and create electronic schematics.
Knowledge of CAN is a plus.

- Gross monthly salary between €3,400 and €4,500 (depending on age and experience) in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Industry Collective Labor Agreement
- 27 vacation days + 13 additional vacation days
- Annual training opportunities
- Permanent employment is possible based on good performance
- Support in finding housing
- 12-month contract with a 1-month trial period
